Our
Story

Get to Know Us

Welcome to our company history! Our journey began in 1988 when our founder started as a machinist and CNC programmer, bringing a wealth of skills to the table. After transitioning to IT in 2004, their passion for mechanics and classic cars, sparked during their time in the Navy as an engineman in 1982, led them to join the Nomads Car Club in 2000. In 2004, they retrofitted a manual mill and lathe to operate as CNC machines, paving the way for innovation. By 2010, they built their first 3D printer, revolutionizing part production for classic car community, and have since embraced SLA printers to deliver high-quality components using a diverse range of resins. In 2021, they founded KME in Washington, and in 2023, the company name evolved as they relocated to Oregon, continuing to serve the classic car community with passion and expertise.
